Individual
Coaching
Individual coaching provides one on one conversations in which we work in partnership to identify and develop the pathway to meet your desired goal. Essentially a creative meeting during which we actively work to explore new ways to navigate life challenges. Coaching could be defined as "unlocking a person's potential to maximise their own performance" (Whitmore, 1996).

Traditionally coaching is associated with sports, however, coaching has developed during the 21st Century and is now perceived as an interdisciplinary field serving a number of coaching environments: life coaching, career coaching, team coaching, executive coaching, health coaching in addition to sports coaching.

Coaching differs from counselling in a number of ways, the main difference being that in coaching, the focus is on using solutions to achieve a goal, whereas in counselling, there can be much time focused on understanding the past. In this way, coaching is a forward moving, action orientated activity.

Coaching can help in many areas of your life, some of which are:

improvement to workplace performance - improve personal relationships - achieve a goal for personal improvement e.g. weight loss, quit smoking, learn an instrument (not all improvements mean quitting something!) - managing multiple projects - overcoming anxiety e.g. public speaking - conflict management - achieving beyond your expectations - living your dream
